In 1996 Juliana moved to the corporate sector, working for several multinationals before joining Peter Baker & Associates to practice law in Bendigo. Such experience provides Juliana with a variety of interpersonal and business skills which combine to provide clients with a high level of service. Juliana is available to see clients in Bendigo and Woodend.

Fran Medina was admitted to practice in 1992, and has extensive litigation experience in major Melbourne law firms, before moving to Bendigo 6 years ago with her young family.  Her litigation experience includes general and commercial litigation, family law, debt recovery, contract disputes, and intellectual property litigation.  Over her 18 years of legal practice, Fran has practised in family law, personal injuries, general commercial drafting and retail leasing.  Since moving to Bendigo, she has been involved with Righteous Pups Australia, a local Bendigo not for profit organization, for the past five years and has handled their litigation and general drafting needs during that time on a pro-bono basis.  Fran is also a Board member and Secretary of RACE, the Regional Academy of Cycling Excellence (providing pathways for junior cyclists to elite levels) and has in that role drafted employment contracts, sponsorship agreements, memorandum of understanding and various general commercial documents.  As a career litigator, Fran believes that her court dispute experience provides her with a depth of understanding in general commercial drafting and avoiding unnecessary pitfalls.  Fran believes that effective communication, timely work and clear costs advice is the key to a successful solicitor/client relationship.  She has been Vice President of the Bendigo Law Association for the past 3 years, and is a keen cyclist, often seen on Bendigo’s roads early in the morning.
